LONNIE LEE 'BUTCH' LOVETT, age 62, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born on August 13, 1955 in Greene County, to Edward Dale "Pete" and JoAnn Jordan Lovett. He was a 1973 Miami Trace High School graduate and also graduated from the Hobart School of Welding. Butch had been employed by Mac Tools of Sabina for 32 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an outstanding pool shooter.
Butch was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Robinson.
Survivors include his parents; special great-nephews, Dylan Moore and Cody Moore, as well aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion, Sugar.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Smith officiating with burial to follow at the Koontz Cemetery.
