Ronald (Ronnie) Langley, 75, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel West in Columbus where he had been a patient since July 14.
Ronnie was born October 22, 1940, in Pike County, Ohio to John Wesley and Charlene Elizabeth Eleanor Taylor Langley. He lived most of his life in this community.
Before his retirement, he had been a farmer and construction worker.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin R. Cowman in 2007, two sons, Donald and Ronald Langley in 2006, and a brother, William C. Langley in 2016.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Pierre Sweeney of New Holland; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; his close friend, Virginia Iams of Washington Court House; six siblings and their spouses, John and Beverly Langley, Fannie Langley and her husband, Richard Uszak, Roy and Carol Langley, Robert and Carol Langley and Harry and Dona Langley, all of Washington Court House and Doris and Jim Rowland of New Holland and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Mell Wickensimer, director of visitation at the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
