Shelba Jean was one of two little sisters (twins) of my Mama Violet. She was (and still is up there) a light in all our lives. She had the most wonderful sense of humor even when she wasn´t well. She was a joy and my husband and my wedding. Was was (and still is up there) and joy to us all.
She took care of our Daddy who had Alzheimer´s and allowed and relieved my Mama and shouldering some of her hardship. She was a joy to my Daddy and Mama.
Love her always with all our hearts.

Jean used to be a very good friend with my Mom
I remember going to visit her when she lived in Lakewood hills . She always was smiling . Beautiful lady . Always liked visiting her. As I got older I lost track of her. Sending my hugs and prayers for her family

My mother Shelba Jean left her mark on many people. She could brighten a room with her smile and contagious laughter. She was a part of almost everything I did throughout her life. So many gatherings especially on the 4th of July. She was a bright soul who lived a long life and touched the hearts of many. There are so many reasons why she will be truly missed. Fly high mom and I will see you when it's my time to come home!
