I have lived for nearly 55 years on this planet and met a lot of people. There was no better human being than Barbara. She was a gentle soul who loved her family, her friends and her animals. She was a devoted wife to Mike. I have many fond memories growing up with her and Mike as they were very dear friends with my parents. She was a shining light with a heart of gold. She made one of her famous quilts for my son Jesse when he was born. He still has it. I speak for my entire family in saying that Barbara will be missed but never forgotten.

Barbara was such a sweet lady. She was so good to me and my brothers and sisters growing up. Wish I could be there on Saturday. Sending my love. Megan Thompson
