Dennis Garoutte Obituary

Dennis Eugene Garoutte, age 77, passed away on September 26, 2018 due to several health related issues. He was born in Republic, Missouri in 1941 to Lloyd and Hildred Garoutte. His family relocated to California where he worked in the scaffolding business (Capitol, Brand, Skyline) for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Vera, whom he was married to for 55 years. During their married life they lived in Sacramento, CA., Reno, NV., and Stockton, CA. He is also survived by his children Rick (Deena) Garoutte, Denny Garoutte, Dawn (Lance) Archer, and Christie Jetton; grandchildren Carissa, Jacqui, Sean, Jake, Connor, Gabbie, Haley, Lauren, Mekayla, Aaron, and Nick; brother Leroy (Julie) Garoutte; numerous extended family members and friends. Dennis was an avid 49er fan who also enjoyed camping, barbecuing, watching westerns and gatherings with family and friends. He will be remembered for his handsome smile and will be forever missed. A "Celebration of Life" will be planned for a later time in January.

Uncle Denny I will always remember you being so kind to everyone, your smile, your gentle ways always giving. I remember how fun it was growing up with our cousins, visiting you and auntie Vera in Reno, and Sacramento and how you always made us all feel so welcomed, like you were our own Dad in so many ways. Thank you for all those fun times Uncle. You are special to me. Love you uncle Denny!
