Genoveva Lopez Obituary

Our beloved wife and mother, Genoveva Lopez, age 87, entered into eternal peace on Saturday April 7, 2018 in Stockton, CA. Her devotion to her family and her unwavering faith in God gave her the strength to "Fight the good fight and finish the race." Genoveva was born March 7, 1931 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of the late Juan Martinez and Augusta DeJesus Valentin.
She is preceded in death by her three sons: Jose, Eddie and Julio and her late brothers: Luis and Israel Martinez. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 yrs., Jose M. Lopez and their loving children; Sylvia (Martin), Jeanette (Danny), Marilyn, Diana, David (Billie), Hector (Irma) and Tina (Paco). Her siblings: Edith, Blanca, Norma and Tony. She was a loving abuela, great-abuela and great-great-abuela and great-great-great-abuela to numerous.
Funeral services will be held at Templo Monte Sinai, 224 S. Cardinal Ave., in Stockton on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 9am, viewing and service at 10am. Burial will follow at Stockton Rural Cemetery, 2350 Cemetery Ln. She will be greatly remembered and missed.
