John Carrillo Jr. Oct. 24, 1989 Sept. 24, 2010

John Carrillo, Jr., age 20, passed away September 24, 2010 in Fallujah, Iraq. John Jr. was an active duty member of the United States Army. He was born on Oct. 24, 1989 in French Camp,

California.

He leaves behind a wife, Reylene; and two sons, John III (Baby J) and Julius; three siblings, Joseph, Jordan and Desiree; and his parents John Sr. and Desiree all of Stockton, CA; as well as many family and friends. He is now with God and his Grandma Margaret and sister Angel. Jr. loved life in everything that he did. He loved being a father to his boys, reading, running and writing rap music. He was involved in many activities as a child at the church he attended, Lakeview Assembly, from age 3. The Royal Rangers was a very big part of his childhood, where he earned many awards and merits and even making Ranger of the Year many times. As a freshmen at Edison High School, he join the ROTC program. He loved being in a uniform and it was a life long dream to join the Army. He became a father at the young age of 17, and decided to go through the Delta GED program, where he graduated and became a full time student at Delta College. It was at Delta College where he met an Army Recruiter and was excited to finally be able to fulfill his dream and make a better life for him and his young family. He had the support of everyone that loved him. His short life ended doing something he dreamed of doing his whole life. He served his Country with his whole heart, loving ever minute where ever the military sent him. He passed on for our Freedom, and is a True American Hero. He will was loved and will be dearly missed.

A private viewing and funeral was held with family and friends.
