Kim Mah Obituary

Kim W. Mah

Dec. 6, 1923 - Mar. 25, 2018

Kim was born on December 6, 1923 in Taishan, China, where she survived the rigors of World War ll. In 1947, shortly after the war ended, she married her husband, Toy Fong Mah, and moved to Stockton. Kim adapted quickly to Stockton life, working as a food processor and volunteering with the Marr's Family Association. For the past 38 years, she was also an active member of the Jene Wah Senior Center, where she enjoyed attending Senior Lunch before her daily exercise. Kim, with her generous spirit and pleasant disposition, was deeply loved by the people whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed. Three children: Helen (Yiu Wan), Jane (Norman) and Raymond (May Pheng). Six grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason), Garrett, Jillian, Melissa, Jonathan and Andrew. One great-grandson: Jadon.

A memorial service will be held on April 5, at 1:00pm at the Chapel of the Palms, 303 S. California St., Stockton, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Jene Wah, Inc., 238 E. Church Street, Stockton, CA 95203
