Lisa Rocha Obituary
On Sunday, May 16th Lisa passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brave fight with cancer.
Lisa was born in San Francisco on April 27, 1962 to Joe and Lynn Bugeja. At a young age, her family moved to Stockton, California where she attended Presentation Catholic School and later Tokay High School. She married Manuel Rocha of Lodi, together, they had two children Matthew and Kevin. A woman of many talents and a sharp student, she was always searching to develop her skill sets and learn a new craft to share with her family. She was exceptionally gifted at sewing and crochet. Lisa always had an ardent love of healthcare and went on to work in several of the Valley's hospitals before working for the health department of State Corrections. Known for her charisma, generosity, and loving nature, her door was always open to those in need.
She is loved and will be sorely missed by her husband Manuel Rocha, parents Joe and Lynn Bugeja, son Matthew (and Ashley) Rocha, grandson Joseph Rocha, sister Lori (and Jerry) Ferdun, and nephews Tyler (and Mathew) Ferdun-Wood and Spencer (and Courtney) Ferdun. Her family takes comfort knowing she is reunited with her son Kevin.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Anne's Church in Lodi, Thursday, May 27th at 10:30 AM.
