Luis Eduardo Ortega
Nov. 24, 1975 - Feb. 9, 2010
Luis Eddie "Bebito" Ortega passed into another life on February 9, 2010. In his first life he was born on November 24, 1975 in El Centro, California. He lived in Stockton and was a graduate of Edison High School. Bebito worked as a lumper, in warehouses, at Best Buy, Sears but his favorite job was working with El Concilio and the Taft Community Center. A huge Raider fan, he enjoyed drinking, smoking, dancing and eating. He was good around the ladies. He listened to classic rock, Johnny Cash, Al Greene, Tool, Metallica, Oldies and any other types of music that made him feel happy, mad, sad, or bad (on good ways). His favorite flicks included Good Fellas, Reservoir Dogs, American Beauty, The Machinist, The Departed, The Outsiders, Badass and much more. He also liked to watch the Simpsons, Seinfeld, The Office, Mad Men, The Sopranos and The Military History Channel. He loved his mothers cooking (sopes, enchiladas, flour tortillas, ceviche, turkey and cucumbers with limon, salt and powdered chili). I can go on forever on his likes and dislikes but I'm not.
Bebito is survived by his mother, Irene Ortega and step-father, Francisco Sandoval; brother, Martin Ortega; grandmother, Esperanza Williams; aunts, Candy, Angie, Gaby, Gorda and Raquel; cousins, Andy, Vanessa, Camaron, Fitas, Niko; homeboys/ brothers, Solomon, Jesse, Jo Jo and George. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
