Marc Allen Weisman, of Acampo, passed away on December 27, 2007, in Sacramento. He was born in Texas on January 31, 1945, the only son of Bernard and Louise Weisman. Soon after his birth, the family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where he was raised and attended local schools. Marc was a Naval officer on board the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Mr. Weisman was a regional manager for Placer Title Company in San Joaquin County for the past seven years and was previously manager at New Century Title Company in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Marc enjoyed boating, camping and visiting the coast, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children. He was a special person who had a lasting impact to all who met and knew him. He was loved by many and will be best remembered as a kind, gentle soul.
Marc is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Weisman of Acampo and his adoring triplets, Jacob, Nathaniel and Sophie. He is also survived by his loving younger sisters, Paula Padgett of Jacksonville, NC, Linda Miller of Farmington Hills, MI, Ann Green of West Palm Beach, FL and Florie (Jerry) Janik of West Palm Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Marc's life will be held on Thursday, January 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Vinewood Community Church, 1900 W. Vine Street in Lodi. There is no visitation and committal is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marc's name to the American Diabetes Association, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive, Ste. 110, Sacramento, CA 95833. A virtual register may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories can be shared. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
