We were very saddened to hear of the loss of Mrs. Kaneko. My daughter Ariel had the privilege of having Mrs. Kaneko as a school teacher at Commodore School. She was a wonderful, dear person who taught my daughter not only about academic subjects but life lessons as well. Our deepest sympathies to the family. She will be greatly missed.

We are so sad to hear of "Mom" Kaneko's passing. It seems like just yesterday she was trying to round up Keith and separate him from those goofballs - the Zebra Boys.... and groaning when she saw Doug, Robb, and Greg heading her way to persuade her to let Keith stay with them.

Our deepest condolences. Please know we are thinking of you and will do anything to help.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Kaneko family.

Mrs. "K" was a big part of how all the Zebra boy's became friends that quickly grew into a brotherhood. Thank you for your support, advice and kindness you've given us over the years.

Dear Kaneko's,

My deepest condolences on your loss. When I think back on my memory of Mrs. K, it was when Keith ran into the ocean in Santa Cruz and lost his glasses. He thought it was the end of the world, but Mrs. K was so understanding and sympathetic. And that's how I'll always remember her.

Please let me know if there is anything I or my family can do for you.
