Mary E. Gusters was called home to meet the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2006. Mary was born in Bristol, OK to loving parents Raymond and Callie Gremillion. She moved to Richmond CA, in 1950, then to Stockton, CA in 1951. Mary attend local schools in Stockton. She also attended San Joaquin Delta College, where she completed the Nursing Program and became an LVN. She worked at San Joaquin General Hospital for 22 years. Mary met and married Willie Gusters in June 1962. To this union 2 children were born. Mary was baptized at Christ Temple Church, under the leadership of Bishop Louis D. Stallworth Sr. Mary served the church faithfully until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie; parents, Raymond and Callie, and one sister, Angela Willis. She is survived by her children, Darren (Malia), of Nampa, ID, Michelle Gusters of Stockton; 5 grandchildren, Danyhel Botello (Paul) of Manteca, Justin Peterson of Stockton, whom she raised, Darren Jr, Micah, Josiah, of Nampa, ID; two great-grandchildren, Veronica and Alex; god-son, Brian O'Neal; step dad Monroe Brandy of OK; her siblings, Rosella Gremillion, Ruthie Burdette, Katherine Hailey (Bob), Terry Gremillion, Owanna Orr, Omethia Jones of Stockton, Tommy Gremillion of Richmond, CA. Clydell (Jeanette) Gremillion, of Mesa, AZ, Sheila Cabanero, Stephanie Gremillion of Stockton and Darlene Emerson (Steve) of Lodi, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 on Friday, May 12, 2006 at Christ Temple Apostolic Church. Vistation will be at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll, 809 N. California, St., Stockton on Thursday, May 11, from 1:00-7:00 p.m. Committal at Stockton Rural Cemetery.
