Matilda Laidet, 97, native of Upper Lake, CA, passed away Mon., Feb. 20, 2006. She worked as a housekeeper at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 1970. Graveside service: Fri., March 24, 11 a.m. at Mokelumne Hill Protestant Cemetery. Mortuary: San Andreas Memorial Chapel.

To all of Tilda's family, my heartfelt sympathies go out to each of you! Tilda was my friend for 20 years and I will always remember her as a priceless Christian woman, who let her light shine brightly for all to see!
To Tilda, I will see you on the hill for now, and in Heaven when it is my time.
