Nicole Stockstill Obituary
Nicole Cherie Stockstill, born on May 7, 1976, in Stockton, CA to Lori G. Stockstill-Adams and Steve Stockstill, left us too soon when she entered into eternal life on April 7, 2017. Nicole was raised in Stockton where she attended local schools. She brought energy, passion, and fun to life. Her profound love for every stray animal will forever be unmatched.
Nicole is survived and will be genuinely missed by her partner Matthew Riddle; her four beautiful children, Jessica Ortega, Andrew Brooks, Laurissa Brooks, and Juliana Baxter-Stockstill; her mother Lori G. Stockstill-Adams; and father Steve Stockstill, all of Stockton. Nicole is also survived by her grandmother Shirley Stockstill, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A special thank-you to Paul "Pops" Brooks for all of your love and continued support throughout the years.
A gathering to celebrate Nicole's life will be held at His Way Community Center located at 2106 Cherokee Rd., Stockton, on Saturday, April 29th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Oh Nicole, you were taken so soon. I regret not staying in touch over the years. I will forever cherish our memories we had growing up. Yes, I agree you had such a beautiful smile and warm heart. Nicole, I still can't believe you are gone. My heart is broken. My condolences to your Mom, Dad, and Children. You were an awesome daughter in law who I loved with all my heart. You were one of my best childhood friends. I looked up to you and wanted to be like you. You were always so cool. I am so happy that you found me on facebook a few years ago and I could see your beautiful family through pictures. I will miss you so much Nicole! I have always cherished our friendship growing up and always loved that we could kept in touch through out our lives. I think the world of you and I'll always remeber that beautiful smile that lights up any room. You were taken from us to soon, I always pictured all of us as old women one day sharing the good ol day stories. I hate that's it's been so long and we always think we will connect later because life gets so busy. I regret this so much. I really want to connect with my girls Tracee, Angela, Laura and the old Stockton crew and not put things off til later. As we know life is too short and we just never know what the next day will bring. So please let's all reconnect soon!!! Unfortunately I will be in New Orleans for her service which is a bummer. My dearest friend Nicole, I gotta tell ya, your life and your passing have impacted my life and changed my perspective on things! You and Tracee were my strength when my brother passed and I have always loved you for that. Even more I have loved you for your wisdom, knowledge, and joyful spirit. Cousin my mind is flooded with so many memories i don't know where to begin... I love you so much Nicole. Growing up you were always my childhood hero.... I did everything i could do to protect you and be there for you cousin... Laughter we shared so much laughter.... You will be so deeply missed.... I am broken in a million pieces...
