She was a mother, sister, aunt, daughter and a Mighty Woman of God. Well loved by her family and community. Funeral services will be held at Fri., Dec. 12, 11:00 a.m. at Centro de Vida, 2295 East Fremont. Visitation: Thurs. Dec. 11, 9-5 p.m., Jesse E. Cooley Funeral Home, 640 N. California St., Stkn., CA. Committal: Valley Home Memorial Park, Oakdale, CA.

God Is good, "he calls on his Angels when he needs them to do his work", i remember Paula and her brothers from way back in the day (60's), i was sadden when my brother told me about her! My prayers go out to all the family (Gaines),My God bless all of you!!

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I have known Paula for a long time. I met her in the 70's with the Gladney's. Paula is in a better place resting with all her work's well done speaking for her. Hold your head up things will get better some day. May god bless you all.

I was so shocked and sadened to hear about Paula.I know this is a hard time but God is our comfort. I remember the last time I got to see Paula we were praying together. I will always remember the good times in the Lord with Disciples in Action. I know you miss her but til we all meet again where there is never goodbye. I just want to say a few words about Paula she was someone who always made it a point to call me by my name and we would talk about how things were going. She was a very loving and caring person. I got to work with her at one of the schools.We took breaks together she always smiled when she talked about her son.She was a wonderful person to work with. Paula I never got to say thank you for all the many breaks we took together, our lives were so busy with our families ,church and work that somehow when I got sent to another school we lost track of each other . Paula was my sister. She showed me what a Christian, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a woman, and friend is. I don't know where i'd be if it wasn't for Paula and being a part of her family. Paula was a wonderful woman who'll be missed by all of us. Mine and Paula's family go way back to junior high school, having been from the same neighborhood as Paula, when Johnny and Paula first dated. Now who would've thought I'd marry into the Binder family, also. Until we meet again, RIP Paula.

Paula I will Miss you so much. You were such a great God Mom to me you were always here for me and my mom. You made sure that I would never have to go without. You were a tremendous blessing in my life and I will miss you and I love you. I know you were looking forward to seeing my son come into this world and i was looking forward to him being able to know you. I hope I will be the good mother that you told me I will be. I know you are with God now because you were one of his angels here on earth and you blessed so many people. I understand that he was ready for you to come home and have you closer to him. I remember Paula walking down the hall past my office. She had a great smile and wonderful personality. I feel heartache for Mary and Paula's other family members. Paula's untimely death is a terrible loss. Mary is a dear young lady and was so connected to Paula. We will try to give Mary extra support at Lincoln High School, especially during this very sad time.
