Sheryl Jeanne Weldon

March 28, 1954 - February 13, 2008

Sheryl Jeanne Weldon was born on March 28, 1954 in Stockton, CA to Robert Reed and Agnes

Marie (White) Stricler. She grew up there and attended school there. Her mother had also decided to return to high school and she and Sheryl Jeanne graduated together. Jeanne lived most of her life in Stockton, Gridley and Chico, CA and moved to McAlester with her parents in 2003. She was a loving and caring person who was good at crafts and photography. She was a soft touch for any animal looking for shelter or food and worked with several animal care groups. She cared deeply for all of her family and was caregiver to her grandmother and then her mother and was a positive role model for them all, especially her niece Traci.

She is survived by her father, Chuck Danel of McAlester; 3 brothers and 1 sister, Allen Sticler, Charles Danel, Brad Danel and Susie Collins all of California. Many nieces and nephews and cousins throughout the western U.S.

Graveside services were held at Ash Creek Cemetery/Pavillion on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Interment was held at Ash Creek Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester, Oklahoma.
