1948 -2018
Steven Leroy Rodriguez of Stockton, Ca passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2018 at the age of 70. He was a mechanic for 30 years at Del Monte Foods, inc. He was hardworking and instilled a good work ethic to his family. Through out Stevens life he touched many people with his kind words, wisdom and of course uncontrollable temper. He was a jack of all trades and could repair or build anything. He gave so much of himself and always lended a helping hand. His energy and wild spirit will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife Consuelo Rodriguez, siblings Benita and Max Virrey, Maryann and Steven Shipman, Irene and Joe Yanez, children Eric (Sharkey) Rodriguez, Stephanie Flores, Teresa and Mike Navarec, Jr. Elias Rodriguez and Karina Eligio Rodriguez, and Rosario Caesares. Grandchildren Sarah Manalang, Christopher Garcia, Synthea Flores, Ashlee Navarec, Jessica Rodriguez, David Flores lll, Maximus Navarec, Alex Franco, Alyssa Franco and Elias Rodriguez. Great-grandchildren: Anthony Mora, Scarlett Flores, Kash Manalang and many special nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Eligio and Mary Rodriguez, brother Eligio Rodriguez, Jr and sister Martina Rodriguez.
Services will be held at the Tracy Public Cemetery, 502 E. Shultz Rd.,Tracy CA 95376, Friday January 4, 2019.

Uncle Steven, during my father's last days of his life you came to visit him and told me the best stories about you and him working together. I wish I could tell you what a blessing those stories were and how much I needed the laughter at the time. Thank you for giving me hilarious cousins. Most importantly, thank you for being there to say goodbye to my dad. I know it was hard for you but you did it out of love and respect for him and his family. RIP Uncle.

This is so sad for our family Steve was a amazing man and so loved by us all Uncle Steve to our children and like a brother to Larry and always called me Mija you will be missed. The laughter you brought to us. We will be together some day.
