Ada Loiodice Obituary

Damascus, PA

Ada Loiodice, 85, a loving homemaker and a 23-year resident of Damascus, PA, died June 10, 2008.

The daughter of Antonio and Elena Baldasso Bettiol, she was born on September 4, 1922 in Treviso, Italy.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Callicoon, NY.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Michael Loiodice; her children, Vincenza Loiodice, Elena Turell and her husband, Daniel, Louis Loiodice and his wife, Cheryl and Angela LaBoda and her husband, Alan; her sister, Elide Irwin and husband, Charles; her grandchildren, Andrea, William, Jessica, Laura, Ashley, Michael, Adam, Erica, Alyssa and Austin; her great grandchildren, Cawley Ann and Jack and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, June 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, 34 Upper Main St., Callicoon, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Callicoon. Father Kevin will officiate. A Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Obernburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
