Catherine Royce Obituary

Catherine M. Royce of Jeffersonville, N.Y and an 18 year seasonal resident of Spring Hill, Fla., died Friday January 7, 2005 at Heritage Park Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton, Fla. She was 81 years of age.

She was born in Callicoon, N.Y. on May 27, 1923, and was the daughter of Elizabeth Magdaline Baumgardt and Thomas Casper Brown.

Mrs. Royce was a member of the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church and a member of the choir. She was a 4-H Leader for many years, a 31 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Cornell Cooperative Extension.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sidney and Doris Royce, of Cochecton; a daughter and son-in-law, Leah Mae and Ed Waldron, of Jeffersonville; two grandchildren: Steven and his wife, Melissa and their daughters: Hannah and Haley, of Palmetto, Fla., and Jennifer and her husband, Dan, of Roanoke, Va.

Cremation was made in Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 16 at the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kenoza Lake United Methodist Church, Kenoza Lake, NY 12750, or a charity of one's choice.
