Charlotte Loughlin Obituary
Charlotte A. Loughlin, a retired therapy aid with the Middletown Psychiatric Center, and a 50-year area resident, entered into rest on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in the O.R.M.C. Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was 85 years old.
The daughter of the late Harvey W. and Grace T. Kopp Snyder, she was born on May 23, 1923 in Port Jervis, NY. She was the widow of Thomas J. Loughlin, Sr., who predeceased her on October 2, 1994.
Charlotte was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Bloomingburg; the V.F.W. Shawanga Mountain Post 4947 Ladies Auxiliary in High View, and the C.S.E.A.
Survivors include her son, Thomas J. Loughlin, Jr. in Bloomingburg; three brothers: Lawrence Snyder and his wife, Ima Jane of Huntsville, TX, Herbert Snyder and his wife, Arleen of Bloomingburg and Citrus Hills, FL, and Richard Snyder and his wife, Robin of Frederick, MD; sister-in-law, Mary Valentino of Bowie, MD; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her cherished Boston Terrier, Midge.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Loughlin, Sr. and two brothers, John and Harvey Snyder.
Friends may call at the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, on Wednesday, October 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 9, in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bloomingburg, NY. Reverend Raymond Bagdonis, O'Carm will officiate.
Interment will be in the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Aunt Charlotte, I can't begin to say how much you will be missed. You were the most generous and caring person I have known. I am so happy that I was able to be so close to you my whole life, I love you and will cherish the memories.

I really wish I could have been there today. Charlotte is definately going to be missed. She was such a kind, genorous, and giving person. She was always looking out for everyone around her and would always do anything to help them when she could.
