A message from Chris aka CB (chrisy baby): "To my dearest family and friends, some things I'd like to say, but first of all, to let you know that I arrived okay. I am writing this from heaven, here I dwell with God above. When I am gone, release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do, You must not tie yourself to me with tears, Be happy that I had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess, How much you gave me in happiness, I thank you for the love each have shown, But now it is time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust, It is only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories in your heart. I will not be far away, for life goes on, So if you need me, call and I will come, Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near. And if you listen with your heart, you will hear, All of my love around you soft and clear, then when you must come this way alone, I will greet you with a smile and welcome you home."

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, January 16, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Coloni Funeral Home, 3001 Rt. 9W, New Windsor, NY 12553. When someone dies, you don't get over it by forgetting; you get over it by remembering, and you are aware that no person is ever truly lost or gone once they have been in our life and loved us, as we loved them. We love you Chris, & we will never forget you. Love, your cus. Miriam, Al, & A.J.

To CB's Friends,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. You are all too young to have to say good-bye to a good friend. CB was blessed to have so many close friends in his life. You were all his "True Family". He was a strong, independent and loving young man. He worked hard for everything in his life. His life was a happy one because of his friends.

I hope CB's friends find solace in knowing that you all have a very special guardian angel watching over you. You get in this life what you give and you all gave so much.

Rest well CB, you deserve it.

I had the privilege and honor of knowing Chris through my son (Joe) as they were good friends. Chris was a very special person who touched the lives of so many people at such a young age. He told me in the hospital how fortunate he was to have so many good friends who helped him during his illness and they were just as fortunate to have him as a friend. We are all blessed to have known this fine young man and will miss him terribly. My deepest sympathy to his family and dedicated friends who cared so much.

Chris was a close friend for years and I will always remember him for his unwavering loyalty. His “tell it like it is” approach to the world is something I have tried to emulate in my own life. Even though I am unable to make it to his final services, my thoughts and prayers have been with him, and will continue to be with his friends and family over the next couple of days.
