Rachel, Mrs. Leary, Marisa and Mike, My heart is with you now and has been during the past few years. No one can explain why things happen like this. But Mr.Leary is not suffering anymore and now it's time to remember all the great memories and celebrate the wonderful life and family he had and has. Rachel and I have been friends for years and when I would come over to the Leary's house, Mr Leary was always so happy and welcoming. I'm lucky to have known such a great person and such a wonderful Dad to my friend. Sending my love and prayers.

I feel so very lucky to have had Mr. Leary and the Leary family in my life. Growing up with Marisa as one of my best friend we were together all the time which means all of our parents were each others parents. Mr. Leary was always so great to be around, he was one of the warmest kindest people I knew. I will never forget how much he would love when we would all walk into Marisa's house and go and say hello to him and he would always say "Hi Girls". He always spent time asking how we were and what we were up to and we all knew how much he cared about us and how much he got a kick out of us!

We are so sorry for your loss and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Leary's,

I remember what my dad said about Rachel before she married Tyler. "Some people you just know are meant to be part of your family." That's how we feel about all of you. We loved Dan so much and will never forget the two weeks that he was here after Dylan's birth. We wish that we could be with you for the memorial services.

Love,

I can still see Dan standing at the Chamber festival booth, dutifully selling water for us - and trudging up that hill with more cases of water - and I smile. Of course that was probably the last thing he wanted to be doing that day, but you'd never know it. I've missed him at these last few festivals and will miss this quiet, gentle man always.
My thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences are with the whole Leary family at this time.

My condolence to each of the Leary family. I know Dan to be the quintessential family man, so very proud of his children and so very in love with his wife. Even his siblings were never far from his mind. I enjoyed my time with Dan very much as a coworker and a friend. He was so very exuberant about so much. He was always in a bright spirited mood no matter how tough things were. At Nortrax his executive duties evolved to include some operation of John Deere heavy equipment which he immediately took to with great zeal. He ran bulldozers and excavators across the yard with a proud smile right from the heart. One time, with an excavator that he was not familiar with, he became locked in the cab and could not figure out how to get out. He called me on his cell phone for advice on his dilema. I sent a technician to go out to help him and being at afternoon break time, they all went out to help him. Seeing the entire shop staff headed out to help him he called me back quickly with a response of " Oh man, did you have to send them all?!" Dan will be sorely missed.
