Duane Emanuel Obituary
Son of Harold Emanuel and the late Ernestine Jonas Emanuel, Duane was born September 15, 1980 in New York, N.Y.
Survivors include his loving father, Harold, at home; loving daughter, J'Nai Emanuel, at home; two brothers, Maurice Emanuel of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Derrick V. Emanuel of Maybrook; three sisters: Ingrid M. Ryner and husband, Dexter of Brooklyn, N.Y., Floreatta Emanuel of Far Rockaway, Queens, N.Y., and Desiree Emanuel of Queens, N.Y.; his uncle, Maurice Emanuel of the Bronx, N.Y.; nieces: Akilah Ryner of Brooklyn, N.Y., Samya S. Emanuel and Sanaa D. Emanuel of Queens, N.Y., and Maureesha Emanuel Robertson of Far Rockaway, Queens, N.Y.; and nephew, Abraham Emanuel of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, February 9 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, N.Y.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y. Burial will immediately follow in Cypress Hill Cemetery.

DUANE WILL BE MISSED HE WAS A GREAT PERSON. I HAVENT SEEN HIM SINCE HIGH SCHOOL BUT IN SCHOOL HE WAS ONE OF MY GREATEST FRIENDS. HE WAS A CARING LOVING PERSON WHO WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED.

Duane will be greatly missed. I have known him for years and cared for him deeply. He was not only a student of mine, but the father of my great neice. He had a smile that will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Duane.

Duane will be greatly missed.. he was known for walking around town.. i will greatly miss him making fun of my orange jacket i use to have a kid.. my prayers and thoughts are with the family during their time of mourning.. and for his daughter

There will never be another Duane. He was a true one-of-a-kind gentle spirit you only get to know once in a lifetime. I will remember his smile always.
