Elfriede Littman, 89, entered into rest on Friday, February 19, 2021. The daughter of the late Ludwig and Marie "Mitzi" (Morgenstern) Zeiger, she was born in Vienna, Austria. She was married to the late Eugene Isaac Littman, who predeceased her in July, 2013.
Elfriede was a member and supporter of Temple Beth Jacob, Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, The Littman Cancer Center at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, and the Jewish Federation of Orange County.
She is survived by her children: Robert Littman of Baltimore, MD, Sandra Finkelstein and her husband, Robert of Greenwich, CT, Bonnie Gatof and her husband, Peter of Scarsdale, NY, and David Littman and his wife, Constance of Newburgh; five grandchildren: Harrison and Tyler Finkelstein, Alex Gatof and his wife Lauren, Jessica Morgan and her husband Jason, and Jacqueline Lee Littman; as well as other family members and many friends.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, Rabbi Doug Kohn officiating.

Dear Bobby, Sandy, Bonnie and David. So sorry to hear of Aunt Elfe’s passing. So long ago, we used to spend time together in Newburgh and Florida. So many memories and so many loses. I guess we are all truely orphans now. Love, Suzy
