Florence Maurizzio Obituary

Middletown, NY

Florence M. Maurizzio passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2008 after a long illness at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus in Middletown. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

The daughter of the late John and Helen Walsh, Sr., she was born on February 17, 1950 in Middletown.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Ralph Spadafora at home; her children, son, Frank Maurizzio and daughter, Tammy Razzano, both of Middletown and her former husband, Frank Maurizzio, Sr. She was also survived by her brothers, John Walsh, Jr. and Edward Walsh of Middletown, Arthur Walsh of Lake Champlain and William Walsh of Middletown; her sisters, Margaret H. Decker, Anna Post and Joy Walsh, all of Middletown and her grandchildren, Keith Razzano, Ryan A. Razzano, Joseph A. Colon and Chazz Maurizzio, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Helen Bennet and her brother, Charles Walsh.

Memorial services will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 West Main Street in Middletown, NY.

Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
