Frances Piston Obituary
Frances Barresi Piston of Walden, NY, a former dress seamstress for Bellfiore Dress, Newburgh and a longtime resident of the area, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at Thompson House, Rhinebeck, NY. She was 91.
The daughter of Pietro and Antonina Cassone Barresi, she was born August 9, 1916 in Italy.
She was a member of the Walden Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of the late John Pistone.
Suvivors include two nieces, Nina Barresi of Brooklyn and Concetta "Connie" Barresi Mugnos of Red Hook, NY; great niece, Michele Mugnos Newman and great great nephew, Tanner Newman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28 from 7-9 p.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden.
Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh.
Arrangements were by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc.; 845-778-3811.
