Jean Mellon Obituary

Fort Montgomery, NY - Jean Mellon, former resident of Manahawkin, N.J., entered into rest on December 3, 2007 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall. She was 90.

Daughter of the late Stanley and Stephanie Zamski, she born in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Mellon and his wife Donna of Highland Falls, N.Y., Joyce Tilton and her husband William of Fort Montgomery, N.Y.; a sister Wanda Dolan of Margate, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Burkette of Fairbanks, Alaska.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Route 9W, Fort Montgomery, N.Y., with the Rev. Jack Arlotta officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of William F. Hogan Funeral Home, Highland Falls, N.Y. (845) 446-2868.
