John A. Bibbo, age 85 of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, passed way July 29, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Geisinger Hospital in Scranton-Wilkes-Barre, PA.
John was born on November 24, 1935 in Bronx, NY, the son of Anthony and Yolanda Papaleo Bibbo. He proudly served our country with the U.S. Army form 1955-1957. John worked for Labeling Systems, Inc. in Oakland, NJ until his retirement. John was an avid poker player and enjoyed playing "Texas Holdem" with his friends and in various poker tournaments. He married Patricia Metz Bibbo, who survives at home. He is also survived by his three sons: Anthony Bibbo and his wife Margaret of Pasadena, MD, Chris Sittig and his wife Lyn of Waldwick, NJ, and Stephen Sittig and his wife Jen of Pompton Plains, NJ; his sister Carmella Giordano of Warwick, NY, his two brothers: Robert Drewes and his wife Geraldine of the State of Florida, Dennis Drewes and his wife Cheryl of Barnegat, NJ; his beloved six grandchildren: Anthony, Julianna, Rachel, Emma, Shannon and Claire; several nieces and nephews. John was pre-deceased by his twin sister, Corinne.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice, 50 Glenmaura National Blvd., Moosic, PA 18507 or to St. Jude Children's Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
