My grandfather (and grandmother) had a monumental impact on the person that I am today. Joe was truly a wonderful man that always put the best foot forward with a positive outlook on life, regardless on what the issue of the day was. I was fortunate to see him shortly before he passed away, and despite everything he was dealing with, we still were able to share a few laughs. He loved his entire family deeply, and would have done anything for them; and this included his brotherhoods with the fire companies that he served with, and organizations that he was a member with. He always spoke highly of everyone. He will be deeply missed by me, my wife, and his great-grandchildren.
