Kathleen Johnson Obituary

Kathleen A. Johnson, age 56, of Highland, died Monday, October 20, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital, Kingston, NY.

Mrs. Johnson was born October 23, 1951, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Barczak. She married Anton G. Johnson January 22, 1972 at St. Albert's Church, Queens, NY.

Kathleen was a New Paltz Girl Scout Leader for many years. Kathleen's quote was "If you follow your heart and have a clear purpose everything will work out". She was an avid reader and loved Crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Anton G. Johnson, at home; one daughter, Holly Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA; two sons, Anton J. Johnson of Washington, DC and Kenneth Johnson of Troy, NY; mother, Agnes Barczak; one sister, Janet and husband, Paul Sullivan of Long Island, NY; one brother, Joseph Barczak of the state of Florida.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 24, from 5-8 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 34 South Chestnut Street, New Paltz. Burial will follow in Lloyd Cemetery, Highland, NY.
