I remember my mother and father telling me so excitedly about finding the perfect family to move into our big old family home in Blooming Grove. They became The Best Neighbors to my folks for 27 years. Sears and Phyllis and all of us adored the lively family next door. My parent's kept track of everyone's studies and sports and took an interest in the research that Ken did. Ken was always there with his warm smile and calm spirit whenever we would call. You all were so generous and lovely. I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing as well. They were such wonderful people and will be so missed. Take care of yourselves during this tender time.

We were lucky to get to know both Ken and Ann in Milford. What a lovely pair they were: good neighbors, interesting people, great human beings, real class acts! They are together again. Our thoughts and sympathies are with the Cartwright family.

What a wonderful, interesting, full life! So many happy memories of Ann and Ken at their homes in Blooming Grove and Milford, where the door was always open and there was always room at the table. Their greatest legacy is their family, who have inherited their parents' compassion and care for each other and others, and can proudly carry the Cartwright name forward. My deepest sympathy to you all.
