I was going to send Kenny a note saying how much I loved his Mother. But...it was a missed opportunity because I found out he had passed. His Mom would watch me after I left the one room school house on Quaker Street where Mrs. White taught. She always fed me and put me to work. Sweeping, weeding, spreading ash. I wanted to tell him what an incredible influence Mrs. Grimm was for me. So sorry. Rest in peace. Jeff Franklin. Cornwall, NY
