Kevin Barnes Obituary

Callicoon, NY

Kevin J. Barnes of Callicoon, a life area resident and a retired lieutenant at Eastern New York Correctional Facility, Napanoch, died October 26, 2008 in Callicoon. He was 49.

The son of the late Arthur and Evelyn Roberts Barnes, he was born January 6, 1959 in Hackensack, NJ.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher J. Barnes of North Carolina and Jason R. Barnes of Brooklyn and Patricia Barnes; three brothers: Arthur Barnes of St. Augustine, FL, David Barnes of Kerhonkson, and Eric Barnes of Bethel, CT; two sisters, Kathleen Barnes of Bethel, CT and Jeanette Mulz of Anderson, SC. Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., 79 N. Main Street, Ellenville on Thursday, October 30, from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 31, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jay Vogelaar officiating.

Burial will be in the Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville.

Donations may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
