My Dear Simpson Family, After reading all of these loving words I can only add my love and heartfelt sympathy for all of you.
As I said in Church, Kim's handshake was like a binding contract and his work the best., men like him are few.
His best contribution to the world are you 4 children and how all of you have turned out so loving and successful in life. Please, remember your good times with your Dad or Brother and keep those memories in your mind and heart always.
And Kim, if you read this, right now I have bright and smelly lipstick on just for you. I hope to have it on when we meet again.
My love and support to all of you forever. Aunt Kay or K to my dear husband, Jon.

Dear Kim...
You left us too soon, little brother.
There are so many things that we will miss: your smile; your sense of humor; your ability to work hard; and
being able to pick up the phone and chat with you.
There are many who loved you...and who will miss you more than words can say...but I believe you are now surrounded by many wonderful people...who will keep you company forever...and until the rest of us are called to join you.
Following is a poem, by an unknown author, that brings me great comfort in times like these:
Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am a diamond glint in the snow
I am the sunlight on the ripend grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
I am the fleeting bird up in the sky
I do not want to see you cry
I am the sweet smells of the early spring
I will be with you when you laugh and sing
For I am you and you are me
And in your hearts I shall always be.
Rest in peace my brother.

Dad,
You often told me you come into this world with two things a hand shake and your word, and if you leave with them you lived a good life. You my father lived a great life, to short but great. I love you and will miss you forever. Mom, It's your turn to watch after dad again.

Tammy, Lynn, Kevin and Darrin, and families, I was so very saddened by the news that your dad passed away. I have so many fond memories of him. He was such a generous man, always wanting to make sure that his guests (even us high school girls!) were happy. Breakfasts were his specialty! He always made sure that I had blueberry eggo's! I will always remember his smiling face at the airport as we (Tammy, Margie, Linda, and myself) got off the plane from our trip to Florida for Spring Break. He (and the rest of our fathers) were standing there holding a welcome home sign. Big smiles on their faces! That is the Mr. Simpson that I remember. A loving father and husband. Hold your precious memories tight. He loved all of you so very much. You are all in my prayers during this difficult time. Hold onto each other. God bless each of you. Mr. Simpson, may you be at peace now! Love, Sheri

Dear Tammy, Lynn, Kevin, Darrin and all of your families.
Your dad (grandpa) was a great man! I have MANY fond memories of being at your house growing up and just enjoying being with both your mom and your dad. Your dad made me, Tammy, Sheri and Linda get up at like 4:00 in the morning to watch Prince Charles and Diana get married! We were not thrilled, but he made us a great breakfast!
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. May God give you all the strength and comfort you need now to get through the next few days and also through the upcoming months and years. You all have wonderful memories of two very fun and loving parents. May God bless them and you also.
In sympathy and friendship,

Lynn and family, there are no words that can be said to ease the sorrow of what you have lost, but over time you will find solace in the fact that your father is at peace, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Grandpa,
There is no way to say this but here goes. In your eyes I can tell that you loved us all so much. I remember when Jared, Kim and I were playing football-Kim wall all time QB and you were having a blast watching us. I remember when you came to Morgans' Birthday and we decorated the stuffed animals and you were laughing and smiling. I also remember when Ryan and I came up and you gave us candy- Ryan and I were throwing snowballs at the pole. I loved you so much and I still do. Why did you have to die? Thanks for all of your fun.

Tammy, Kevin, Lynn and Darren and your families
I am so saddened to hear about the passing of your father. He was truly one of those people you meet who is bigger than life. Always with a smile on his face that went from ear to ear and a "How ya doing Johnny boy! " every time I saw him and I will always think of him as that tough as nails pop warner coach who made all of us better players and better people. Even my first vehicle was a souvenir from Kim Simpson Roofing LTD a Ford Pickup two tone (white cab green bed) only rolled once but like it's previous owner tough as nails and dependable as a good hunting dog. You never realize how much someone touches your life until they are gone from it. I will miss him but he left a part of himself with everyone that he met. I hope he is at peace now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tough time. I hope the closeness of family and friends will help you through this difficult time.

To Jon, Todd, and the rest of the Simpson family, I grew up with Kim and Angelo Vellake when ya'll lived on Wickham Ave, Middletown. We were back yard neighbors. We did some crazy things together back in those days. Like diving out of the 2nd story door in the barn to a 3 foot high swimming pool filled with 2 feet of water! I remember he bet me a PENNY that I couldn't clime up his chimney which was made of stone to the top and I said I could and did. He couldn't believe it and called me a monkey. I don't ever remember if I ever collected or not. Kim always enjoyed a Great game of Ping Pong which we had. We had a regular book we kept score in. Also had many a good times with him and Stan the Man. I can't add anymore than what everyone else has said. Kim my friend, may you RIP and keep all of us smilling. Love ya bro.
