To the Edwards Family; The only words that I can use for this tragedy is "Only the good die
young". I am honored to have been given the opportunity to work with Lori, laugh and cry with her. She loved her family, her school, her friends. Her appreciation of help given and offered from all was always mentioned. May the comfort of all the memories that you have help you at this time and forever.

You don't know me...but when I see a young woman/man's life taken at such a young age(especially with children) it tugs at my heart strings. It will be 2yrs ago on April 26th that I lost my daddy. I STILL feel like it happened today. Someone told me that it would get easier as time passes. I'm a witness to this: As time moves on, you get used to that person not physically being a part of your life. BUT my dear children....the pain will always be with you b/c your loss is a GREAT one. I've come to terms with my dad not calling me 5x a day or doing our yearly vegetable gardens and other traditions we had. BUT once I did come to terms....I feel him with me ALL the time. The birds, wind, rain, sun & looking in the mirror....I see him everyday!! You will all find your own ways, but it will take time. In my thoughts & prayers, With Sympathy, A mother of children & a daughter of a late "wonderful man".

Dear Brian and Family -
It is with a very heavy heart and with much sadness that I write this. Lori was a very special person. I remember every Christmastime starting before any of your children were even born, she made gift baskets for all of us at the office. She continued that practice for years, graduating to trays of Christmas cookies and tins of fudge. It was the best fudge I ever ate. I know that you and your children were her world. I'm sorry that I cannot attend the services, but living in Tennessee makes it impossible. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lori will forever be remembered by me as someone who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. Ever. Lori was extremely unshelfish with her time and was a vital part of the Loch Sheldrake Ladies Auxiliary. Saying Lori and was a true friend to anyone she knew is an understatement. What a great role model and truly someone who led by example. My heart goes out to Brian and her children.
