Margaret "Marge" Bundenthal, a longtime resident of Warwick, NY passed away on January 30, 2021 after a brief illness at Schervier Pavilion. She was 87 years old.
Born in Bronx, NY on August 6, 1933, she was the daughter of William and Viola Keenan.
Margaret was a Registered Nurse at Bergen Pines Hospital in Paramus, NJ until her retirement.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marge enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She kept up on all the family events and activities with her sharp mind; Marge was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at Liberty Green.
Marge is survived by her greatest legacy, her family, including five children: William Bundenthal and his wife Carol of Warwick, NY, Christine Bria and her husband Frank of Apex, NC, Jean Scully of Warwick, NY, Terence Bundenthal and his wife Cathy of Raleigh, NC, and Matthew Bundenthal and his wife Christina of Pittsboro, NC; nine grandchildren: Frank Bria, Katie Gilmore, Niki Kiernan, Sean Scully, Kerri Scully, Brianna Andrews, Cori Helt, William Bundenthal and Michael Bria; as well as three great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Wyatt and Aiden; three godchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, William and her grandson Michael Bria.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 4th at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 5th at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, with interment in Warwick Cemetery following.
