Marie E. Barth, age 91 of Port Jervis, NY, passed peacefully November 16, 2020, with her family present in her West End home, where she resided for 70 years. Marie was born on July 1, 1929 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of George and Alice Wagner Card.
Marie worked as a business supervisor at Doctor's Sunnyside Hospital for many years. She then worked in registration at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis until her retirement.
Marie married Herman "Lefty" Barth who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Mary Lou Hack of Port Jervis, Kathy Henry and her husband, Leonard of Gainesville, Virginia, Laura Frank and her husband, Glenn of Falls, PA; her sons, Paul Barth Sr. of Otisville, NY, and Michael Barth and his wife, Dorothy of Matamoras, PA; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Chris, Timothy, Paul, Jr., Joseph, Cynthia and Jacob; several nieces and nephews.
Marie was pre-deceased by her six brothers, Louis, Thomas, Richard, John, Robert and Joseph Card; and her sister, Genevieve Card.
Rev. Amy Garrett will officiate.
Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Pennsylvania at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, PO Box 596, Sparrowbush, NY 12780.
