Nestor Cabrera Obituary

Nestor Cabrera of Newburgh, a Machine Operator for Star Expansion, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at home. He was 69.

Son of the late Antonia Cabrera, he was born February 26, 1938 in Honduras. He married Deisy Barahona Cabrera on July 28, 1978, who survives at home.

"Nestor was a great husband, father, and a great man."

In addition to his loving wife, Deisy, he is survived by his children: Minor Lopez of Atlanta, Ga., Edmund and Maria Anglero of Orlando, Fla., Alan Dubon, Sendy Cabrera, and Tania McDonald, all of Newburgh, and Dixon Cabrera of Sanford, Fla.; grandchildren: Edmund and Isaac Anglero, Adrian Segura, and Alan Dubon Jr.; sisters, Aracelis and Barbara Barahona of Honduras.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.

A funeral service will take place at 5:30 p.m. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deisy Cabrera, 101 Hasbrouck St., Newburgh, NY 12550.
