Peter Cappelli Obituary
The son of the late Humbert M. and surviving mother, Mary A. Donato Cappelli, he was born on September 23, 1955 in Newburgh.
He attended Newburgh schools and was baptized and confirmed in St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Survivors include his sisters, Gina Burley of Poughkeepsie, Benay Cappelli of Deland, Florida, and Christine Cappelli of New Windsor; nephew, Michael Fishwick of Poughkeepsie and cousins, Janine Tarsio and Genevieve Amiel of New Windsor, Joan DeFazio of Arizona, Diane, Andrea and Lisa of Georgia, Chris and Kelly Donato of Cornwall; his loving and caring Uncle Carmen and Pam Donato of Cornwall (who were always there for him), Uncle Allen Donato of New Windsor and his beloved canine companion CoCo.
He was predeceased by his father Humbert in 2003 and sister Ava Cappelli Baglieri in 1992.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middlehope. A memorial mass will be held at the convenience of the family.
