Richard Cecchetelli Obituary
Son of Kathleen Gavigan Cecchetelli and the late John Cecchetelli, he was born August 18, 1958 in the Bronx, N.Y. He married to Ruth Schwartz Cecchetelli on October 21, 2000, who survives at home.
Richard proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1980, and was a member of Cornwall Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his loving wife, Ruth, he is survived by his sons: Christopher Rossi of Florida, Richard J. Cecchetelli Jr. of Wappingers Falls, and James John Cecchetelli, at home; daughters: Allison Cecchetelli of Wappingers Falls, Jacqueline Elizabeth and Adrianna Skye Cecchetelli, both at home; brothers, John Cecchetelli and his wife, Mindy of Long Island, and Jerry Cecchetelli and his wife, Susan of Pleasantville; sisters, Kathy VanGalen and her husband, Peter of Bedford Hills, and MaryBeth Cecchetelli of Mt. Kisco; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Bennett of Florida; father-in-law, Jim Schwartz of New York; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 2, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.

To Ruth, Mrs. C and the rest of the family, We share the saddness in the Mullins family with Richies passing. He was a great friend to my dad Matty and almost like an uncle to us kids.
