Robert Murphy Obituary
Robert F. Murphy of Monroe was welcomed into Heaven on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY. He was 53.
The son of Vincent J. Murphy and the late Pearl Santamaria Murphy, he was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 18, 1955. Robert was a Regional Vice President for Sprint Wireless Innovations in Totowa, NJ. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe, and was a Coach for the PTA and St. Patrick's Church Basketball Program. His children were his greatest joy in life.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Pane Murphy; his sons, Stephen Collins and Matthew Murphy; his daughters, Jennifer Collins, Katherine Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, and Deanna Murphy of Monroe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Angie Pane of Mahwah, NJ; father, Vincent J. Murphy of Toms River, NJ; brothers, Douglas Murphy of New Windsor, Charles Murphy of Brooklyn; and sister, Jackie Murphy of Brooklyn.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, April 7, at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. Interment will follow in Seamanville Cemetery, Monroe.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
