Robert E. Tomcho "Bobby" of Chester, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown. He was 42.
The chosen-with-love son of Marie Nowicki Tomcho and the late Edward C. Tomcho, he was born on December 24, 1978.
He is survived by the love of his life whom he married on October 13, 2018, Christine Aiello Tomcho, who is comforting and being comforted by their faithful fur-baby, Miller. Although their time as husband and wife was cut short, theirs is a love that will surely transcend time.
Also left behind to mourn him are his siblings: sister, Sandra Marie Tomcho Dunlop (Michael) and brother, Edward E. Tomcho (Sandra).
Through his union in marriage Bobby expanded his family to include his mother-in-love, Joan Aiello; sister-in-love, Kelley Alves (Carlos); and sister-in-love, Danielle Mejia (Jonathan). Bobby was gifted in so many ways and was always a child at heart. He enjoyed being a fun-loving uncle to niece, Jamie Lennox (Anthony); nephew, Jesse Alves (Jenna); his inseparable lawn-mowing partner nephew, Maximus Mejia; great nieces, Danika and Ariella; and great-nephew, Kanaan. He will be forever missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loyal friends whom he loved and treated like family.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 3rd at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 4th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY. A private cremation will follow the services.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines set forth from the state face coverings are required and the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home and the church are limited so we ask that those that may have to wait to enter please follow social distancing guidelines.
