I've known Warner since moving to Esopus when I was 11 and we all rode the bus together. The Hein family has always been kind and friendly. I was shocked to hear of Warner's passing and send my deepest condolences to his family. A great loss is felt by all who knew him I'm sure.

Warner was a Trooper's Trooper who truly believed that he was on this Earth to protect all who lived or passed through New York. He did his job with skill, dedication, sensitivity with his ever present good humor. His loss to his family, friends, the New York State Police and all New Yorkers cannot be measured. May God bless Warner and his family

We are saddened by the news of Warner's passing. He has been a good friend to us since the passing of our son, Kenny, a NYS Trooper who was killed on duty. Warner ran the memorial golf tournament in Ken Poormon and Mike Kelly's honor. He will be missed and remembered always.
