Andrea Louise Frost, 72, of Frankfort, MI and Gold Bar, WA passed away June 30, 2022. She grew up in the town of Coleman, WI. Later she moved to the Green Bay area where she and her first husband Dale owned and managed a golf course/ski hill. Andrea was an instructor on the slopes. Golfing, skiing, and sailing were very much a part of her life. She later worked as a secretary. In 1987, she moved to Frankfort, MI and married Jack Frost. They were inseparable. Together they built and restored many boats and engines to perfection. Jack and Andrea also designed and built their home. Nothing was too big to tackle or fix. If it didn't work or shine, there was still more tweaking, sanding, and polishing to do! They were both passionate about boats. Andrea was very much at home navigating the water on Lake Michigan. Their most notable trip on Vega, a trawler they built, took them from the Mississippi Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean via inland waterways. Andrea and Jack also dedicated 10 years of work and passion to refurbishing a classic local tugboat. Andrea loved to spend time at the marina enjoying a good book on Vega, visiting with people and soaking in the beauty around her. She was very involved in The First Congregational Church of Frankfort and spent many hours working on projects there with the community. She also enjoyed friendships at the fitness centers both in Frankfort and Gold Bar. Andrea loved to garden, play the piano, party, sew, and knit. She was always up for an adventure. She and Jack played cribbage after lunch each day, creating the longest score sheet ever! She was a hardworking, strong and determined woman, and a wonderful asset to the Frankfort community. Her life ended way too soon and she will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at The First Congregational Church of Frankfort on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 2:00.
