It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Jonathan Greene. He left us suddenly at the age of 42 on April 3, 2025.
Eric was joyful and generous, qualities that made him many friends who will dearly miss him. He loved water sports and boating, activities he was always eager to share with friends and family. As was the rest of his family, he was dedicated to spending as much time as possible at his beloved Crystal Lake in Northern Michigan.
Eric loved his daughter, Reagan Elizabeth Greene, with whom he was constantly sharing his love of boating and made sure she could swim before she could walk. He loved engaging her friends through boat rides, manicure days, or arranging father-daughter dances at her school.
When Eric was not with Reagan, he was a health nut who preferred riding his bike around town to driving his car. He had a penchant for good food and drink, and his successful battle with weight control motivated him to start My Health Rocks so that others like himself could more easily maintain healthy body weights.
Eric is survived by his daughter, his father, Howard (Ted) Greene Jr., his sister Cheryl Greene Salmen, and his three half-brothers, Trey Greene, Kit Greene, and Sean Greene. Eric's mother, Arline Greene, and half-brother, Bryan Greene, preceded him in death.
A private burial service will be held in the Crystal Lake Township North Cemetery, and an open celebration of Eric's life will be held on July 11 with fireworks on Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by taking a boat ride with friends.
