Michael Rineer Obituary

Michael Irvin Rineer
01/11/2025
Michael Irvin Rineer, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Mike was an artist at heart. In his early years, he was a landscaper known locally for his unique broken concrete retaining walls. He also enriched the area with his beautiful chainsaw carved tree trunks. In more recent years, Mike loved to write and sing his songs and was a prolific artist. He was very proud of his drawings and shared them with everyone.
Mike was very kind. He loved everyone and considered everyone to be his friend. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and caring community.
Mike is survived by his siblings, Dan Rineer, Dale Rineer, Glen Rineer, Ted Rineer, Rick Rineer, Jack Rineer, Jim Rineer, Deb Lindgren, Kathy Paternite and their families.
Mike was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur and Clara Rineer; and his siblings, Judy Swigart and Gary Rineer.
Per Mike's request, there will be no service. Burial will be in the Benzonia Township Cemetery in the spring.
The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.

Mike was a good fellow. Always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and if you were lucky enough, you would receive a piece of art that he created. We were fortunate to have Mike in our community and he will be missed.
