Danny and twin brother Robert were born to Elsie & James Givens of Red Bluff on November 5, 1961. Danny passed from this life due to natural causes, on February 6, 2021 at his home in Red Bluff.


As a child Danny and his brother Rob enjoyed playing Little League Baseball together with their dad Jim Givens as the coach of the team. Danny would go on to play American Legion Baseball, in Red Bluff as a teenager. At red bluff high school he played basketball and football.


In Danny's senior year, he moved to Farnum, Nebraska to live with cousins RuthAnn and Irvin Hess. While in High School, he played Football & Baseball. After Graduation,Danny would go on to a trade school in Hastings, Nebraska, and then returned to live in Red Bluff the summer of 1985.


Danny loved to fish, and growing up you would find him fishing and hunting with his Dad and brother Robby when he was not playing sports.


Danny was an avid Football, Baseball, and Basketball fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco Giants and also the Nebraska Cornhuskers, he also enjoyed NASCAR. Danny also enjoyed playing red bluff city softball for many years.


In October of 1995, Danny became a father, to a son Dallas Givens. Dallas was Danny's joy in life, and he would take Dallas fishing and would play baseball with him also. Occasionally Danny and Dallas would take a few days and get away, just the two of them. They both enjoyed this special time together.


He was preceded in death by his father, James Givens in July, 2010.


Danny is survived by his son Dallas Givens, mother Elsie Givens, twin brother Robert Givens all of Red Bluff, and his sister, Lisa Givens of Chester, Ca. Step daughter Carly and step son Eric, Danny had 4 Nephews, 6


Nieces, 4 Great Nephews and 1 Great Niece.


Danny's family and his many friends will miss him, his smile and his laughter so very much and He will never be forgotten.


The Family wishes to give a special Thank You to ALL of you who have helped and provided support for the


Family during this difficult time.


There will be a Celebration of Life for Danny at a later date.

Danny it was such a joy hanging out with you,it was so long ago,we met when you came back to Redbluff, I remember we had matching cars , and you always made me laugh,I remember meeting your parents, and just all the fun we had I miss you so much now you are with the Lord God bless you,we will meet again

I am so sorry to hear this. Danny used to be my mom’s neighbor, and they were both San Francisco Giants fans. He would come over and watch the games with her. Danny was a funny and sweet person. My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

I am soooo sorry to hear about this! My thought n prayers go out to Danny's friends and Family ...he cracked me up! Tho I hadn't seen him in awhile it was like no time had passed whenever we did.

Elsie, Rob and Lisa - So very sad to read of Danny's death. I have such memories of all of us at the Little League park and all the other sports events that we shared. Know I am thinking of all of you with prayers
