It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Florence Stevens-Olson, affectionately known to her loved ones as Gwen. Born on May 18, 1942, Gwen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put the needs of her family first. She was a kind and caring person who had a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Gwen had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest, always finding joy in the simple things. She loved spending time with her loved ones, and always made an effort to stay connected with her extended family and close circle of friends.


Gwen was a talented athlete and enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. She also had a love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing with her husband, Dale. Gwen had an eye for fashion and was always impeccably dressed, with a special fondness for finding great deals at yard sales.


Gwen was preceded in death by her son Curtis (Lori), 10 siblings, and great grandchildren Olivia and William. She is survived by her husband Dale, daughter Crystal, brother Theodore, grandchildren Adam (Katherine), Josh (Danielle), Kelsie, Logan, Emily, Kyler (Tiffany), and Sierra, as well as great grandchildren Memphis, Anthony, Gentry, Dempsey & Wyatt. Gwen will also be greatly missed by her beloved dog Elu. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


The family will be holding a celebration of Gwen's life at a later date, with details to be announced in the coming weeks.
