John Earl Davison
April 18, 1938 - April 3, 2023
John Earl Davison passed away on 4-3-2023 peacefully, no longer in pain, with family by his side. John was born in Chico Ca. on 4-18-1938 and spent the first 5 years of his life, with his dad Jack and his mom Pearl Monroe, at the family ranch on Buck's Flat in Tehama County. The countless challenges that boy faced transformed him into one of the most courageous superheroes we have ever known. He became a member of the Johnny Ross Motorcycle family in 1964 sharing his quick whit and accumulating a vast knowledge of all the things he loved. He transitioned to the Maplesden family (North Main Equipment) in 1986 and continued to contribute to our community until 2020 when he retired. Every day we were blessed enough to witness the sheer tenacity and fearlessness this man possessed. He is preceded in death by his wife Debbie, his son Tod and countless cohorts and partners in crime. Left on this earth to miss him every day are his children Tom (Connie), Melody, Monica (Art), Mike, his 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, our extended family The Maplesden's: Bill (Sharon), Dan (Heidi), Jesse and all the lucky people whose lives he touched. There will be no formal service as per his request. If you wish to honor his memory tell your kids you love them, take a long Sunday drive, burn through some ammo or have a meal at your favorite restaurant.

I very much remember as a kid sitting on the motorcycles many times in the shop John managed and only dreamed of owning one. John always had a good attitude and tolerated me everytime I came in. John was a first class guy who no doubt will be surely missed by those close to him.
